How They'll Vote

This is an continuously updated list of how our unpledged delegate candidates will be planning to vote at the Republican National Convention if they are elected. My goal is to provide this list in an area where a large amount of people can see, so everyone can make an informed decision on which delegates to vote for. Candidates are listed by the name they appear with on the ballot.

All candidates are regular delegate candidates unless marked as regular & alternate (when they are on both the regular and alternate ballot) or alternate. Currently, all of the regular delegate candidates and 46.6% of alternate delegate candidates have released statements. There are also three candidates who are running via write-in votes and do not appear on the ballot. The 4th district, 5th district, 9th district, and the 16th district have had all regular & alternate delegate candidates release statements. Every other district have had all regular delegates release statements, but not all alternates.

District 1 (3/3 regular, 0/3 alternate):
Dave Hackett (Twitter statement) - Preferred candidate in the 1st district on at least the first ballot. Will continue to represent interests of the 1st district on later ballots and hopes to leave the convention with the most electable candidate.

Seth Kaufer (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Giordano/Kaneshiki) - Uncommitted.

Christopher M. Vogler (McLaughlin/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki) - Lean towards winner of the 1st district winner, originally leaned Kasich, felt that he would be most likely to win in the fall; former Rubio supporter.

District 2 (4/4 regular, 0/3 alternate):
Aaron Cohen (Olson #2, Kraus & Assad) - Uncommitted.

Aldridk Gessa (Giordano/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki) - Cruz, likes his conservatism and proposals towards Cuba.

Elizabeth Havey (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki) - Preferred candidate of the 2nd district, at least on the first ballot.

Calvin Tucker (Davies/Giordano/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki) - The last man standing/uncommitted, also wants an electable candidate.

District 3 (11/11 regular, 4/6 alternate)
Louis J. Aliota (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Trump.

Mike Baker (regular & alternate, Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Uncommitted.

Brian Ellis (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Preferred candidate of the 3rd district, at least on the first ballot.

Phil English (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Uncommitted, will consult results in the district and be inclined to support the candidate most capable of winning the November election.

John Grenci (alternate, Butler/own site) - Uncommitted. Personally supports Trump.

Jim Keffalas (Kaneshiki/Butler) - Trump.

Gale Measel (regular & alternate, Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Preferred candidate of the 3rd district, wants anyone but Clinton.

Daryl Metcalfe (Butler) - Uncommitted. Will support the candidate who he believes will be the most consistent and represent conservative values.

Michelle Mustello (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Uncommitted, thinks it's important that the delegation casts its votes together.

Lynne Ryan (regular & alternate, Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Preferred candidate of the 3rd district. Personally supports Trump.

Dan Vete (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Uncommitted.

Robert J. Yates (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki/Butler) - Uncomitted, but impressed by Kasich and will listen to votes. Will only vote one of the three candidates that ran in the election. Plans to help determine who is the best Republican to win the race in November.

District 4 (15/15 regular, 3/3 alternate):
Tim Barker (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson/Kaneshiki) - Will give strong consideration to the preferred candidate of the 4th district.

Amy Sarah Brennan (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Kaneshiki) - Preferred candidate of the 4th district.

Scott Burford (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson) - Preferred candidate of the 4th district, at least on the first ballot. Personally leans Kasich.

Charlie Gerow (regular & alternate, Olson/McLaughlin/McColgan #2 & Mahon/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson/Kaneshiki) - Preferred candidate of the 4th district. Originally uncommitted, planned to consider the vote in the 4th district and the state vote and use his best judgement to pick a candidate who is most likely to beat Hillary Clinton and continue the policies of Ronald Reagan.

Marilyn S. Gillispie (McColgan #2 & Mahon/Kaneshiki) - Cruz, doesn't consider Trump a true Republican. Originally Ben Carson.

Betsy Hower (regular & alternate, Zito #1/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson/Kaneshiki) - Preferred candidate of the 4th district for the first ballot, but impressed with a presentation that Cruz held and thinks he'll do well in the district.

Greg Rothman (Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson/Kaneshiki) - Preferred candidate of the 4th district.

Joe Sacco (Gross/McColgan #2 & Mahon/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson) - Trump, says that Trump is saying things that people want to hear, wants people to know his views now rather than sending someone who could vote on personal preference, was asked by Trump campaign to run.

Stan Saylor (McColgan #1/Gross/McColgan #2 & Mahon/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson/Kaneshiki) - Currently voting for the preferred candidate in the 4th district on the first ballot before making his own decision on the second ballot, which he currently leans Cruz. Originally Rubio, said that a lot of people see him as a conservative who works hard. Kaneshiki has him labeled as uncommitted due to his multiple conflicting statements.

Marc Scaringi (own page/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson/Kaneshiki) - Trump on at least the first ballot, says that he will oppose efforts by establishment to install their own candidate.

Alexander Shorb (McColgan #1/Gross/McColgan #2 & Mahon/Zito #2 & Fontaine/Thompson/Kaneshiki) - Not committed to a candidate, will make his vote reflective of the 4th district. Will also consider which candidate won the state, how close the candidates are to the required number of delegates, how well each candidate would do against the Democratic nominee, how well other Republican Party candidates would do, and if the vote would be split if a third party candidate ran. Might go through this criteria multiple times if there is multiple ballots at the convention.
